Costa Cálida, Costa del Sol and Canary Islands are the hottest destinations

According to statistics, the destination which has come down in price most is the Costa Cálida (Murcia), where it is now possible to rent a house for an average of 24 euros per person per day, which is 40.56 per cent less than the 2011 prices.

These declines have also reached the Canary Islands, with rents falling by 38.85 per cent. Rental prices on the Costa del Sol (Malaga), dropped by 31.51 per cent, and on the Costa Tropical (Granada) rental prices have fallen by 23.22 per cent in 2012.

At the other extreme, in the Costa Blanca (Alicante), the price per person per day reached an average of 47 euros, an increase of 18 per cent compared to 2011. On the Costa de la Luz (Cadiz and Huelva), prices have increased by an average of 13.3 per cent and in Valencia they have risen by 4.57 per cent.

The Balearic Islands, meanwhile, remains the most expensive destination with regards to renting, with an average price of 54 euros per person per day, although this figure still represents a reduction of 21.6 per cent compared to 2011 data.

Overall, El Mundo reported that revenue from Spanish beach rentals showed a decline on average of nearly 17 per cent between the summers of 2011 and 2012.

The Nasrid architecture marked the end of the glorious period that started with the Umayyads in Cordoba in the 8th century. And the coverings have wooden frames that have been exquisitely carved, etc.

Just a hint of the uniqueness of the place. The Alhambra was built with its own special type of column, which is not used in any other building. This column has a very fine cylindrical shaft, the base of which has a big concave moulding and is decorated with rings on the top part. The capital is divided into two bodies and the first one, cylindrically shaped, has a very simple decoration and a prism with a rounded-angled base and stylised vegetal forms as decoration.

Eurovegas is expected to attract 11 million visitors in 15 years

Sheldon Adelson, the man who wants to establish a Eurovegas casino, hotel and leisure park, has now said that there is nothing solid about the project as yet.

Last month he said it was 90% complete and all he had to do was to choose between sites in Madrid and Barcelona, but now it seems he is getting cold feet, linking the project’s viability to the future of the Euro.

The President of the Las Vegas Sands Corporation said, ‘It’s not a Spanish project, it’s a project for all of Europe. If something happens to destabilise the Euro we still have time to take a positive or negative decision’.

If built Eurovegas is expected to attract 11 million visitors in 15 years who will spend some 15.5 billion €, according to the company.
