Taking advantage of Christmas holidays and the landscape that gives us this time of the year, we make a quick trip through the snow-capped mountains of Colorado, USA to show you a residence with a contemporary style from which you can admire the incredible beauty of the snow on the spot that surrounds it.
Designed by Hagman Architects and Karen White Interior Design in 2016, this house has a sophisticated and modern architecture which highlights the American style. It has high ceilings reinforced with beams and, also, it's covered in all its rooms by large windows that offer unparalleled mountain views.
The house is divided into two floors, on the top floor are the large open rooms, living room and kitchen, the bedroom with its own bathroom and the office. On the ground floor, we find a small kitchen, the others bedrooms and a bathroom. The living room and the kitchen share space in a large and open room, guided by a range of soft and elegant colours such as white, grey and the wood finishes of the floor, doors and the main table. The office has a great amplitude and luminosity to work together with the peace and harmony that the forest exhales.
The protagonist of the residence is the landscape which beautifies the structure and which connect with the simple and contemporary design of the interior. The main room, on the upper floor, has a linear appearance with soft colours in shades of dark brown, beige and grey. The bathroom stands out for its light colour and its modernism included in the furniture. One of the bedrooms has two single beds that combine white and beige with ethnic patterns in blue.
