They could give me an apartment for free in Spain, I would not want it. The neighbours in this country can´t behave. They ae the most noisy and respectless people on the planet. I have been in 61 countries all over the world. And nowhere neighbours behave as bad as in Spain. On the islands people are more educated. There is a better chance, that they don´t shout 24 hours or scratch with chairs and tables over the stone floors, or listen to the tv 24 hours with full volume. But on the mainland you can´t live with this people if you are a normally educated and civilized person.
Oh, and I forgot the garbage everywhere. Every corner of the mainland, even in the natural parks or the beaches is covered with garbage. Even in areas on the islands it is horrible. They call for example Fuerteventura biosphere reservat, but there is plastic garbage and beer cans everyshere. The same on Teneriffa. You can hike through the most beautiful nature and you will find the garbage of the locals there. Shame on Spain. Keep your stupid apartments and houses for yourself as long as you can´t behave like educated civilized people.
