Sustainable housing: Houses which take care of the environment

Nowadays, administrations, developers and companies are promoting measures to make an efficient construction by taking advantage of renewable energies: wind, solar thermal, solar photovoltaic. On World Environment Day we present some of the most sustainable houses in the world, which seek reconciliation with nature and mother earth.

This house is distinguished by its energy efficiency due to the production of renewable energy through photovoltaic and solar thermal panels integrated into the construction.

This house is built in steel with a cedar siding. Thanks to its structure, this house has an emissions-free rating thanks to its high levels of insulation, air heat pump and wind turbine.

P.A.T.H. by Philippe Starck 

This French architect designed this highly ecological design. Integrate sustainable high technology systems (solar, photovoltaic and wind turbines). Its commitment to the environment is observed both in its structure and its decoration.
