Architecture: House in El Ampurdán, Girona
From the architect b720 Fermín Vázquez Arquitectos Located on a very uneven plot of land and skirting the perimeter of a small rural village perched on a hill, the house consists of a series of walls matching the topography. The house, which is relatively big compared to the rest of buildings of the village, goes unnoticed leaving the image of the village in the landscape unaltered. The project is a contemporary response to the program and the backdrop, although it assumes, with discipline, strict rules concerning materials, empty spaces and covers.

Architecture in Spain: Sardinera House, in Alicante
From the architect Ramón Esteve. Located in a setting of great beauty and valuable landscape, in front of the Mediterranean Sea, between El Portixol and Cala Blanca (Alicante), the Sardinera House lays on the top of a hillside, lined by a headland entering the sea on a bay of turquoise waters.

Dwelling in Ibiza 2 by Roberto Ercilla

The traditional Ibiza (Spain) house is organized by adding rooms, which give an imperfect image with high plasticity.
In house nº 2, the white cubic volumes are articulated among themselves by means of turns, generating interesting residual spaces and cross views.
This arrangement allows a close relationship between interior and exterior through the organic adaptation of the house on the lot, integrating the existing trees.
The house sits opposite the landscape, to the south, with views of the city of Ibiza, and opposite the mountains, to the north, with views of the countryside.
