From the architect b720 Fermín Vázquez Arquitectos Located on a very uneven plot of land and skirting the perimeter of a small rural village perched on a hill, the house consists of a series of walls matching the topography. The house, which is relatively big compared to the rest of buildings of the village, goes unnoticed leaving the image of the village in the landscape unaltered. The project is a contemporary response to the program and the backdrop, although it assumes, with discipline, strict rules concerning materials, empty spaces and covers.

On a site in the higher part of a residential zone in the environs of Murcia is located the singular, crossed house with views to the adjacent mountains, the “Sierra de la Pila” and “Valle del Ricote”. From the ambiguity, being on a site of a future densely built-up area and at the same time enjoying today’s unsurpassable views, was born the idea of the project: to orientate the lower level of the house to the garden’s intimacy and grant to the user at the superior level the delight of its views considering future edification and the influence of solar radiation.

From the architects Ricard Galiana and Yago Oliva. “The House in Cassà project is a single-family house built in a new neighbourhood in Cassà de la Selva (Girona).
The house is situated in a plot with a small slope facing the south which is divided in two different levels. The upper level hosts the main rooms and swimming pool whereas the lower level accommodates the garden and the parking.

From the architect - OAM Arquitectos -: With just one bow movement, a violin virtuoso is able to produce a sixty seconds continuous sound. In this lapse of time, the musical note flows constantly without sound alterations. The notes will be tied together by means of the legato which indicates that musical notes are played or sung smoothly and connected with no interruptions at all.

Located in the town of Sant Cugat near Barcelona, the house was designed by H Arquitectes for a couple with a large art collection, who wanted plenty of wall space and a strong connection between indoors and outdoors.
Gaps between the three brick boxes of the house can be transformed from enclosed rooms into covered patios by folding back glass doors at both ends.
